Bishop Rosemarie Wenner was re-elected bishop of the German Central Conference of The United Methodist Church on Nov. 19 in Dresden, Germany. Wenner became the first woman elected to the United Methodist episcopacy outside of the United States in 2005. This year, she received 90 percent of the votes on the first ballot.
